2024 Foundation Grant Recipients

International Grants:
International Health partners - To improve the healthcare in Zinga, Tanzania, Africa
Kenya Scholarship Fund - Supports post-secondary education through scholarships for Kenyan students and orphans from the New Life Community Center in Kenya (facebook - Kenyan-scholarship-fund-109113433961701)
Bethel's Center of Pastoral Care - Tallinn, Estonia- supports housing, education, faith and faith based programs/activities for orphans and other at risk students
Cellal Africa - supports medical health services for women and children in Senegal. It is a rotation site for HCMC resident students.
Feed My Starving Children Mobile Pack - supports the purchase of food for the Forest Lake area mobile pack distributed worldwide as needed
New Life Community Center - supports an orphanage for young boys to age 18 with food, clothing, housing, medical services and education in Kissi, Kenya
Brydges Centre - provides destitute, orphaned and poor children with shelter, education and training to become self-reliant and skilled for the future.
Africa Education & Learning Initiative (Africa ELI) - supports education and wellbeing programs for refugees and local vulnerable youth in Uganda and South Sudan, Africa.
Food for his Children - provides programs, resources, leadership and hope for rural Tanzania citizens living in extreme poverty

Arrive Ministries - Assists refugees after arriving to MN by helping secure housing, employment, enrolling in school and English Classes, and assist with medical services
Lutheran Campus Ministries - supports Lutheran ministry to students on the campus of U of MN-Twin Cities as they study and grow into adulthood.
The Dwelling Place - proving healing and hope to victims of domestic abuse
Shobi's Table- A "pay as you can" café that operates of of a food truck or pop-up café depending on the weather
Humble Welk Lutheran Church - provides outreach services to the local community in St. Paul, MN area;
Saint Paul Area Synod - supports local mission outreach, partnerships, and re-renewal with supervision, coaching and vision in the St. Paul Area Synod
One Vision - supports ministry to Clear Lake, Iowa and other sites in Northern Iowa at group homes by supporting the Spiritual Ministry program.
ELCA Domestic Disaster Relief Fund - an emergency grant supported emergency help and supplies to the SE US area devastated by hurricanes in 2024
Lutheran College Education: 2 College Student who is a member of Elim Lutheran Church received a Scholarship
