St. Andrews's Family Shelter (previously known at Forest Lake Area Ministry for Families - FLAMF) is a place where families from our own neighborhoods who are experiencing homelessness stay while receiving case management at the Community Resource Center at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church in Mahtomedi.
The St Andrew's Family Shelter is up and running in Hugo! Thank you to all who helped last year. We are up for another week to volunteer and are hoping to get even more volunteers this year! Elim members have the opportunity to serve at St. Andrew's Family Shelter in Hugo the week of January 12. Follow this link to volunteer.
Looking ahead, we will also be volunteering the week of July 12.
All volunteers at St. Andrew's Family Shelter are required to have completed a volunteer application for a background check and view this Safe Boundaries video prior to volunteering.
If you have any questions, or to get started with the volunteer application, please contact Gloria Flattum.
Thank you in advance for being a part of this ecumenical outreach ministry!
