COVID-19 and Elim Lutheran Church
Staying safe while worshiping together
LAST UPDATE MAY 23, 2022: MASKS ARE CURRENTLY OPTIONAL FOR ALL IN-PERSON VISITORS. SCIENCE AND EVIDENCE CONTINUES TO INDICATE THAT EVEN A FULLY VACCINATED PERSON CAN SPREAD THE VIRUS. AS SUCH, ELIM ENCOURAGES EVERYONE TO EXERCISE THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF CAUTION EACH INDIVIDUAL FEELS IS APPROPRIATE, INCLUDING MASKS, LIBERAL USE OF HAND SANITIZER AND SOCIAL DISTANCING WHERE POSSIBLE.
WE ENCOURAGE THIS BECAUSE OF THE RECENT INCREASE IN THE SPREAD OF NEW OMICRON VARIANTS OF COVID-19.
WE MAKE THESE STATEMENTS OUT OF LOVE BECAUSE GOD COMMANDS US TO LOVE OUR NEIGHBOR. THOSE OF US WHO ARE FULLY VACCINATED CAN STILL SPREAD THE VARIANT TO UNVACCINATED, UNPROTECTED ADULTS AND CHILDREN.
ELIM WILL UPDATE THIS PAGE AS ANY CHANGES OCCUR. THANK YOU AND PLEASE STAY SAFE!
