Recent additions:

Daughter of the Reformation, by Mary Helene Rasmussen Jackson. This is a carefully researched story of Catherine Von Bora, the wife of Martin Luther. Included are many interesting , but often forgotten, facts of that 16th Century event that changed the world and brought us into the modern era.

Still Alice, by Lisa Genova. A movie of the same name was released in January; check out the book that inspired it.

Validation Breakthrough: Simple Techniques for Communicating with People with Alzheimer's and other Dementias, by Naomi Fell. The title tells you what it is about, and the techniques are easy.

The Divine Art of Dying, by Herbert Anderson and Karen Speerstra. It explains the unique moment when seriously ill people choose to turn toward death - in a healthy way. Co-written by a son of the congregation.

Somewhere Safe with Somebody Good, by Jan Karon. It's a good read for you Mitford fans.

Good Food from Mrs. Sundberg's Kitchen, by Holly Harden. It'll warm you up on a cold day. There are lots of good recipes to try and good readings to boost your spirits. Garrison Keillor wrote the forward.
