Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) is a 25 year old organization that was started and is based in MN. It was started by a doctor who went on a mission trip with a group of doctors, and was frustrated because a lot of the medical problems the children had stemmed from being malnourished. With help of others, he discovered an inexpensive way to nourish those children. This has grown into an organization that has packed and delivered over 600,000,000 meals around the world. With their formula, they can supply a nutritious meal for 22 cents. This money is raised through donations and the packing is done by volunteers. 92% of donations goes directly towards food, so you can be assured that your giving dollars are going to be used well.
