Pastor Seth PerryPastor, Elim Lutheran Church

Pastor Seth Perry is originally from Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada. He was raised in the Lutheran church. Seth received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, British Columbia Canada. Pastor Seth attended Lutheran Theological Seminary Saskatoon and received an Mdiv. He was ordained in the Alberta Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada. After his ordination Pastor Seth served the people of St. Marks Lutheran Church in Kingston, Ontario, Canada before accepting a call at Elim Lutheran Church in Scandia, Minnesota.
Pastor Seth brings a variety of skills to his ministry. Prior to his ordination Pastor Seth worked as a Youth Worker for the City of Vancouver. He also spent four years working as a support worker and chaplain at Edgewood |
Drug and Alcohol Treatment Center in Nanaimo, British Columbia. Pastor Seth served as an Addictions Counselor at Poundmaker's Lodge Treatment Centre. Seth applies his skills that he has developed in the social work, youth work and community service field to his ministry. Seth feels that Jesus called him to ministry to serve people with compassion and grace both inside and outside the walls of the church.
Pastor Seth enjoys being physically active. He plays recreational soccer and basketball on a weekly basis. Seth will be playing in the adult co-ed basketball league provided by Forest Lake High School Community Education. He is also playing as a goaltender for a CDC Sports men's league soccer team locally. Seth loves connecting with neighbors and community members through sport. Everything is ministry to Seth, including sports. He deeply enjoys living out the ministry of the gospel with his teammates through encouragement of fair play and friendship.
