Volunteer Opportunities for the 2016 Elim Cemetery Tour      as of  9/13/16

It takes a lot of work to produce the living cemetery tour.  The planning committee has been busy behind the scenes getting things ready for September 18th.  We also need volunteer help before, during and after the tour.  If you're interested in contributing some time we have a variety of tasks that need to be done on the day of the tour.

If you’d like to help in one of these roles call or email Scott Walcker at 651 592-3349 or elimcemetery@gmail.com
  • Greeters - Filled Each is a 2 hour shift at lower parking lot entrance.  Shifts go from 10:45 to 12:45 and 12:45 to 2:45  You will sit in chairs at various places and direct visitors to start of the tour.
  • Docents - Filled  The docents will guide visitors through the tour.
  • Cemetery setup and take-down.  Youth, contact Lisa about service hour opportunities here!  It will be approximately one hour long and involve moving chairs etc in and out of cemetery.
  • If you’d like to help out in the kitchen with the luncheon (preparation, serving, clean-up) contact Barb Sachman (651) 433-2037 or gsackman@frontiernet.net
